No subsidy for the Cello Octet?

In the concept advise letter of our fund for structural subsidy, the Dutch Fund for Stage Arts (Nederlands Fonds voor Podiumkunsten), has laid out its plan to not grant Cello Octet Conjunto Ibérico subsidy anymore for the coming four years. One of their arguments being that the Octet doesn't add enough to the diversity of Dutch music culture. We don't agree on this, the Cello Octet is a unique ensemble! As a music ensemble we depend on our structural subsidy.
We would like to ask for your opinion. Please let us know by posting on our guest book, thank you! (http://cello-octet.mygb.nl)
